Plot Summary:

Diana returns to Paradise island for some answers and her guilty mother reveals that she had rigged the contest so that her daughter would lose and Artemis would win. The Queen had ordered that a spell be cast robbing her daughter of some of her powers and giving them to her opponent Artemis instead. Hippolyta had seen visions that Wonder Woman would die and wanted to save Diana from this fate. Diana is horrified that her mother would send another Amazon to the slaughter in her place and rushes to save Artemis from impending doom.
