This issue focuses entirely in Diana's new nemesis, Veronica Cale. The aftermath
of the murder outside the Themysciran Embassy has not resulted in the hoped
for destruction of Wonder Woman's reputation. Cale suspects Diana's staff, who
have managed to handle the media effectively, must have had a tip off and she
tracks down the mole. This enables a recounting of Cale's history, as she explains
to the mole, Kimberley Dunn, why she detests Wonder Woman so much.
