Comments:

This issue and the next feature a two part "fill in" story by guest writer Christopher Priest, in anticipation of the new regular creative team coming on board. Some fans felt that Wonder Woman behaved out of character in this story and that Christoper Priest did not "get" Diana at all - a charge that was repeated after he wrote the three part story "The 18th Letter" in "Legends of the DC Universe".

Plot Summary:

Circe has kidnapped Hippolyta and wiped her memory, leaving her to live the life of a humble domestic mother in a family in small town America. Diana arrives on the scene to try and snap Hippolyta out of her trance but finds the situation complicated by the fact that her oblivious mother loves the life she is living.
